Not excellently, but well enough not to make a total fool out of myself at a party I’ll be attending in a copule of months. Can’t afford lessons (and frankly I don’t think I’ll have enough time to attend classes regularly). What websites do you recommend to help me learn?

You can probably learn the theory but nothing beats DOING it and DOING it with a partner. Get down and dirty!
I am not a salsa teacher, but I used to take latin dances back in college. If you live in the Chicago area, I’ll be more than happy to teach you. If not, find a friend who can teach you. You can’t learn how to dance online unless you are in the matrix then the program can be “loaded”. Good luck.
There are some things that should be done in person and salsa is definately one of them.
go to youtube and type in learn to salsa
Best option is learn dance in person
Can you learn how to ride a bicycle on-line? NO. Well, same with salsa!
